Dr Rachel Hyland is a graduate of Sheffield University. She stayed in Yorkshire to complete her postgraduate training in Leeds, and has been a consultant radiologist in Leeds since 2009. She performs a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures involving abdomino-pelvic ultrasound, CT (including CT colonography) and abdominal MRI.
She has a keen educational interest, being the Royal College of Radiology tutor at SJUH and is currently involved in curriculum development and training at the Royal College of Radiologists.
Dr Rachel Hyland’s interests outside of medicine revolve around her family and friends. She is married to a consultant thoracic surgeon, Richard, and they have 3 children.
