Dr Burbidge trained in radiology in Leeds, with a special interest in non vascular intervention, uroradiology and gastrointestinal imaging. He also spent time training to perform percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in Sheffield.
Dr Burbidge spent time as a consultant at the Hull and East Yorkshire Trust before being appointed in Leeds in 2013 as a Consultant with a special interest in Uroradiology, Non-Vascular intervention and Ultrasound, where he also performs renal access for percutnaeous nephrolithotomy.
He is the Clinical Lead for the Uro-Oncological and Non-Vascular Radiology services in Leeds.
